MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major global progress into the Latin pop mainstream. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. In 2017, he released ADN the first of his long-players in the name of La Industria Inc. in Medellin. This album peaked at eight on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was A Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. In 2020, he dropped his second album charting Dopamina and also collaborated on Mala Influencia with Noriel. In 2021, he was in a duo with TINI to perform her music video Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in an musical family. His younger brother and his mother are also musicians. In interviews he's talked about the music he plays as a compulsory activity.
