Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico, was born to the music-loving parents of her family. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of tangos and opera, as well as any dramatic performance. She started singing and studying the piano with her mom, and commenced more serious vocal training at the age of 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. After moving from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events and performs traditional Latin American Music. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing has her involved with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
